The PRIME POCUS Learning Network is a national academic collaborative of family medicine clinicians and educators advancing point-of-care ultrasound in primary care. This is where we publish the working tools and toolkits built by network faculty.
Every tool here runs in your browser. Nothing you open is uploaded, and no patient media leaves your device.
PRIME POCUS brings together family medicine clinicians, educators and researchers to make point-of-care ultrasound teachable, measurable and sustainable in primary care.
Research
Building capacity for multi-site family medicine POCUS research — focused on education and implementation.
Medical education
The PRIME POCUS Scholars program and hands-on workshops across the network's academic hubs.
Innovation
Authoring tools, literature surveillance, and practice-economics tools and toolkits built by network faculty working to spread POCUS within family medicine.
Our academic home
The network is based in the Department of Family Medicine at the UNC School of Medicine, with an advisory committee drawn from the AAFP, ACOFP, ADFM, STFM, AFMRD, NAPCRG and ABFM. Workshops, memberships, curriculum, assessment and the research program all live at primepocus.org.
